Free Representation Unit

FRU provides pro bono representation in Social Entitlement and Employment Tribunals. Volunteers, mainly law students, do most of the work. I train and supervise them.

I also do my own cases in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal.

I co-wrote Employment Tribunal Claims: Tactics and Precedents, and the accompanying website etclaims.co.uk.

I’m a member of the Tribunal Procedure Committee; Treasurer of the Discrimination Law Association; on the Editorial Board of Adviser and a reviewer for the Bar Pro Bono Unit.
